Yes. Whispers of the Fox is free to download and play. 

No. While players share temple spaces and can observe one another's choices, the game focuses more on participation, progression, and observation than competition. 

Temples are shared spaces where up to six players gather to place offerings and watch the outcome together. Temples serve as the primary gameplay area and are designed to encourage social interaction and observation. 

Fate Marks are the different prediction options available on the Fate Sigil that each predict an outcome of the next dice roll. Each mark has its own odds and rewards. Players choose which marks to support by placing offerings of fate tokens on them.

Omens are special events that occasionally alter the normal outcome of a round. They add variety to gameplay and create unexpected situations that players can react to and learn from.

Favor is a resource earned through friendship connections. It can be used to seek guidance from the Oracle. 

The Oracle is a special feature that players can visit by spending the Favor they get from frienships. The Oracle may provide gifts, blessings, incense, or other rewards. The Oracle also offers unique wisdom each visit. Listen carefully! 

Incense is a temple item that can be activated to provide temporary benefits to all players within the temple. Different types of incense provide different effects and encourage cooperative play. 

Imprints are progression milestones that reflect how you play the game. They are unlocked by developing consistent patterns and habits rather than simply winning or losing.

Titles are earned by collecting Imprints from related archetypes. They allow players to display unique aspects of their playstyle and progression.

Fate Tokens are the primary currency used mainly to provide offerings to the sigil, but also to purchase cosmetic rewards. They can be spent on avatars, profile backgrounds, and auras. Fate tokens can never be purchased with real money. 

Cosmetics are purely visual and do not provide gameplay advantages. 

Fate Tokens can be earned through gameplay, daily rewards, level progression, and Oracle gifts. 

Yes. You can join temples together and participate in the same shared experience. 

Whispers of the Fox uses a curated communication system based on pre-written phrases and reactions. This allows players to coordinate and interact while maintaining a positive and welcoming environment.

Yes. An internet connection is required to participate in temples and access online features.
